Masked Birding at RMANWR

Our next birding adventure will be on Saturday, September 28 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm!
We will visit the Lake Mary Loop Trail in Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge.

Amateurs are welcome! We’ll walk slowly so we can spot as many birds as possible. We’ll see many songbirds, and possibly hear or see owls, hawks, and shorebirds.
Pouring rain or dangerous thunderstorms will cancel; light rain will not.
Best practices for in-person events: If you’re feeling ill, don’t come. Take 3 rapid tests, each 48 hours apart, before the day, and mask indoors for the 5 days prior to the event (we hope you already mask everywhere).
Disclaimer: rapid testing does not guarantee that there is no risk, but testing and two-way masking mitigate a lot of risk.
